Trish Barnes, the president and CEO of Maine Accountants Alliance, has worked in
the financial services industry since 1992, providing financial plans to
hundreds of families over the years. She continues to find working
with personal clients an exceptionally rewarding element of her business life.
Clients range from private individuals to non-profit
agencies, small businesses, corporations, and teachers, among others.
In her capacity as a financial consultant, Trish designs financial plans for
clients through a financial needs analysis. She is licensed to
offer debt restructuring and mortgage refinancing, as well as the term life and
long term care insurances recommended to support the financial plan as it
matures. She is able to provide the
underlying investments required implement the plan.
In addition,
Trish is licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative, through
Maine Accountants Alliance, Inc., a licensed Investment Advisor Firm.
This gives Trish the ability to hold managed accounts for clients, offering
flexibility to meet the needs of all types of clients - from those requiring
their first financial plan, to those with sophisticated portfolios and holdings,
desiring a managed account.
