Patricia
Barnes
Trish serves as President and CEO of Maine Accountants’
Alliance, Inc. After receiving her BA from the University of New Mexico in
1974, Trish taught high school for several years, and had her two children as
she moved around the world as a military wife. After receiving her MA from the
American University in Cairo, Egypt in 1989, in ESL (English as a Second
Language), she returned to teaching.
Trish raised her children as a single mother and taught
several more years (16 in all) before joining Primerica Financial Services as a
registered representative in 1992. She was promoted to Regional Vice President in 1995,
and remained with Primerica until she founded and incorporated Maine
Accountants’ Alliance in 2006. While a good deal of her time is
spent mentoring and working with MAA associates, Trish still finds time to meet
with personal clients, doing business as MAA Financial Services.
She also serves as an investment advisor representative with MAA Investment
Advisor (MAAIA).
Trish lives in New Sharon, Maine with her partner, Chip
Crane. She enjoys skiing, hiking, yoga, and
creating in her stained glass studio.
NASD Securities licenses include Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63 and 65.
